Avrà una piccola parte ma lo sentiremo di nuovo cantare. <3 CITAZIONEContinuano i “lavori” per Inside Llewyn Davis, il nuovo film dei fratelli Coen, il biopic che racconterà la storia del musicista folk degli anni Sessanta Llewyn Davis. Il film sarà basato sul libro di memorie postume di Dave van Ronk, Mayor of MacDougal, figura leggendaria nell’ambiente folk degli anni Sessanta al Greenwich Village di New York, amico di Bob Dylan e attivista politico.
Dopo aver già scritturato Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan, Justin Timberlake e John Goodman, Joel e Ethan Coen sono ora in trattative con Garret Hedlund, il Sam Flynn di Tron: Legacy. L’attore non solo sembrerebbe molto interessato al progetto, ma sarebbe anche molto adatto avendo già interpretato, mostrando le sue abilità canore, il film sulla musica country, Country Strong. Inoltre Hedlund sarebbe al momento libero da impegni, visto che il progetto Akira, in cui dovrebbe interpretare Kaneda, continua a slittare.

Pic also stars Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan, Justin Timberlake and John Goodman. Based on the 1960s Greenwich Village folk music scene, the story follows the title character, who’s is loosely based on Dave Van Ronk. The folk singer was friends with Bob Dylan and other famed musicians. Hedlund’s role wasn’t immediately clear, but he’s shown in COUNTRY STRONG that he has the chops for a singing part.
